Description
Knitted Moss Cushion
Very easy if you’ve managed a few rows of knit and few rows of purl before. Moss stitch is simply alternate stitches and then reversed. The knitted front is handstitched to a frayed woollen backing – to make on the kitchen table over a couple of evenings.
The pdf includes: how to make this cushion plus guidelines for any other size.
Fabrics: any thick yarn for the front – and needle sizes 5mm – 10mm ( UK 6-000 and US 8 – 15 ) ; the size of the cover isn’t crucial and the pattern is easily adjusted to any needle, wool and hand. For the back we used wool which we frayed out to fit the front cover.
