1. Knitwear know for it’s distinctive two coloured design and snowflake patterning. Dale of Norway has been making outdoor and ski wear since 1879, using only natural materials and mostly wool – natures own high tech fibre.

We’ve used the sleeves and bodies of these sweaters to make into cushions, for both alpine and nautical schemes.

2. Furniture style typically of Norwegian folk art with hand painted or stencilled motifs- often dark greens and madder reds. Country furniture is always  comforting in its rusticity, partly because the ideal is attractive but also because the hand of the maker, painter, is always present.
