Also known as traveling wardrobes, these are luggage trunks kitted out with hanging rails, storage compartments, drawers and sometimes an iron and ironing board; they may be paper or fabric lined. Particularly popular in the early 20thC, children love them, and if you find one in an antiques market or at a house sale, they make for a fun–if fiddly–restoration project.
