An old fashioned word really, which describes being careful with resources and finance–something we are all considering in our current times. In modern vernacular thrift involves recycling, re-making, rethinking, making a new appearance. Think of it as transformation, and the lovely cliff-side flower with the same name, and it doesn’t seem so bad!
