The thickest, widest and deepest form of corduroy, very well suited to furnishings. As a plain colour it has plenty of texture and nap–meaning it reflects light well. Its depth of fabric has a sound-deadening quality, making it a fabric of choice for studies and book-rooms. The best qualities are soft and very hardwearing, good for sofas and chairs, stools, curtains and walling.
